Modern consumer behavior has long been shaped by globalization. But what about the exchange of ideas or showing understanding for different cultures and backgrounds? Our concepts developed for binational cultural projects create the ideal setting for people from different cultures to meet openly and respectfully. Sounds, images, transitions: A festival in the sign of future.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”togglebottom”]Diplomatic relations have linked Germany and the Central Asian states of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for 30 years. But what has happened culturally during this time? How do young artists from these countries deal with their own traditions, their own history and processes of change? And what prospects do they see for themselves and their homeland in the future?<\/p>\n

Particularly in politically and socially difficult times, platforms are needed that enable people to get to know each other in a respectful way, with an awareness of similarities \u2013 but also differences. At FUTURE NOW<\/em>, young artists address the traditions of their home countries in a forward-looking way and enter into a dialogue with young German artists. Yesterday, today and tomorrow are viewed realistically and sustainably and the possibilities of a common future are negotiated.<\/p>\n

Music, film and more: Stories and voices from Europe to Central Asia<\/p>\n

The cultural programme 13 Horizons<\/em> runs from September to December 2022, paying tribute to the collective achievements of this era while developing a perspective for future cooperation. The contributions of the 13 partners provide insight into the dynamic developments that shape their societies and highlight the potential of the next generation.<\/p>\n
